Bobux Iwalk – Winter 2018 Range

Welcome to a run down of the new winter 2018 Bobux IWalk range.

Here we have in one place all the styles that will sure be a knockout this winter. The sizes of the Iwalks start at a 22 up to a 26, which is up to an average 4 year old. For those a bit  bigger, those sizes are in the Kid+ range. We also have a blog post on the the smaller Step Ups and Xplorers.

This season includes Classic Mary Janes for girls, trainers, funky new hi tops and boots for both girls & boys, with many unisex.

There has been quite a shift in both styling and colours. Lovely muted greys and pinks, then brighter coloured Forest Green, Plum and Deep Red.

Be aware that there have been some major changes though, including no cute characters from the Blaze Range in Hi & Lo Tops. The new Dimension styles, again in Hi’s an Lo’s are the new replacement. Real funky new styles (be sure to check out our review videos) with a different toe buffer. The protective, toe cap that we know & love has been replaced with a ‘superfabric’. Bobux advises that they expect this to be as hard wearing as the previous version.

The AKtiv range has been a firm favourite as well. This years styles have again a new toe cap. It’s an abrasion resistant clear coating. New styles are Paint, Habitat, Spekkel and Abstract. The uppers are still a mix of leather and canvas, with a cotton melange lining and the same super flexible sole. Fabulous for active toodlers!

 For those that prefer the look, colour options and styling, we still have good stocks of the summer Aktivs

Note, that many styles have the same name from the Steps Ups/Xplorers to the Iwalks to the Kid+. This may make it easier when looking at a style you like, & then searching for the applicable size range.

Full Leather styles (upper & lining) include trainer/sneakers the Duke, Port, Mary Janes Delight and Demi, T Bar Louise.

If you are looking for sneaker looks of the past like the Racer, sorry there are none… But don’t worry. At the end of this post we highlight some summer seasons sneakers that we still have.

Now the awesome boots. The Aspen, with a waterproof membrane and merino fleece lining which is excellent for super cold areas. The Timber, at take on Timberlands, Shire slightly higher up the leg, the Signet, the Jodphur (yay the good old Outback is back – with a new name) and the Desert, another much loved style bought back this year.
